Notes for Coats’ 2025: A Record-Breaking Evening of Music, Community, and Impact

We’re thrilled to share that this year’s Notes for Coats’ event was a tremendous success! Nearly 150 guests came together for an inspiring evening of live music, community, and support—making it the largest Notes for Coats’ event to date.

The venue, Nelson’s Greenbriar Distillery, provided the perfect atmosphere, with plenty of room to grow as this special event continues to expand each year.

A heartfelt thank you to Lisa, Kip, and their family for their incredible vision and dedication to Notes for Coats’. Lisa’s vision continues to raise the bar, ensuring every detail—from the lineup to the atmosphere—reflects the heart and purpose behind Notes for Coats’.

We were honored to have Wayne D. from iHeartRadio as our MC for the evening. His humor and enthusiasm kept the energy high and the crowd engaged throughout the night.

The audience was treated to incredible performances by talented songwriters Brent Anderson, Benjay Davis, Daphne, AJ Pruis, and Ryan Beaver. Their heartfelt performances and the stories behind their songs made the night truly special.

The live auction featured one-of-a-kind items, including an autographed Luke Combs guitar, tickets to Alan Jackson’s final concert, an autographed Nashville Predators jersey, a basket of Kip’s favorite things, and a stunning live painting by artist Leah Boorse, among others. Guests also enjoyed a silent auction and had the opportunity to purchase exclusive Notes for Coats’ merchandise.

The Foundation was proudly represented by Coats’ patients, Foundation Board Members, Coats’ Ambassador Network volunteers, and the Foundation’s Executive Director. Seeing so many members of our Coats’ Community come together was incredible!

Thank you to everyone who attended, performed, volunteered, and contributed—you made Notes for Coats’ 2025 an unforgettable evening and an important reminder of the power of community, compassion, and generosity. Each year, this event brings us one step closer to a world where every person affected by Coats’ Disease has hope for the future.
