Coats’ Community Virtual Gathering Brings Families and Experts Together

The Coats’ Community Virtual Gathering was a wonderful and engaging event, bringing together a large group of parents, patients, and supporters from around the world. The event strengthened our community by creating space for meaningful connection, shared experiences, and valuable learning among families affected by Coats’ Disease. 

Drs. Hartnett, Vajzovic, and Lee, members of our Scientific Advisory Board (SAB), joined to share their expertise during an informative Q&A session, addressing questions submitted during event registration. Their insights provided participants with a deeper understanding of Coats’ Disease and current research efforts. 

For those who were unable to attend, a video recording of the SAB Q&A has been created and is available to view. 

The Community Gathering portion of the event offered heartfelt conversation and connection, as parents and adult patients shared their stories and learned from one another. It was a powerful reminder of the strength and support found within the Coats’ Community.
